Detection Instrument: Fluorescence Microplate Reader
Test Principal: Free fatty acids produce acyl coenzyme A in the presence of acyl synthase, which produces hydrogen Free fatty acids produce acyl coenzyme A in the presence of acyl synthase, which produces hydrogen peroxide in the presence of acyl oxidase. In the presence of the enzyme and probe, hydrogen peroxide react to produce the fluorescence substrate. The fluorescence intensity at the excitation wavelength of 535 nm and emission wavelength of 590 nm is directly proportional to the concentration of free fatty acids.
